EXTREME PROGENY PRIZES

THE LIGHT & DARK EXTREME HERDSIRES OF THE YEAR will receive the following:

• Prominent Placement on the EXTREME PROGENY Auction Website for the Entire Year
• Premier Advertising in the EXTREME PROGENY Auction Catalog & All Marketing Materials for 2009 Sale
• Two-Page Spread in Alpaca Magazine featuring both the HERDSIRE and PROGENY
• EXTREME TROPHIES & BANNERS will be awarded at the Sale
• Each winner will receive one reserved MALE LOT in the 2009 Auction
• Each winner will be featured on the cover of the Extreme Progeny Catalog for 2009

THE EXTREME PROGENY OF THE YEAR will receive the following:

• 1% of the sale proceeds will be awarded and divided amongst the auction lots of the LIGHT AND DARK EXTREME HERDSIRES OF THE YEAR
• Recognition on EXTREME PROGENY Auction Website
• Recognition in 2009 EXTREME PROGENY Auction Catalog and on auction marketing materials
• Two-Page Spread in Alpacas Magazine promoting the PROGENY and the HERDSIRES

EXTREME PROGENY RULES

1. All progeny must be ARI registered. Pending registrations cannot be accepted.
2. 3 in 1 packages will be accepted, however the crias at side must be registered offspring of an Extreme Herdsire and the Dam must be re-bred to the same herdsire. 
3. Winners of both LIGHT AND DARK EXTREME HERDSIRES OF THE YEAR will be determined by highest selling average.  The highest selling average will be calculated by taking the total sale price of the herdsires auction lots (offspring) divided by the number of sire’s lots in the sale. 
4. 3 in 1 packages will be considered to be 1.5 alpacas and their averages will be divided accordingly. 
5. In the event only one auction lot, for an entered Herdsire, is available at the time of the sale the single entry will not be eligible to compete in the competition. However, this auction lot must remain in the sale.
6. In the event of a tie, the prize monies will be split evenly amongst the winners in both the LIGHT and DARK Color categories.
7. "No Sales" will not be included in the sale average.
