North Penn Alpacas is located on State Line Road in picturesque Corry, Pennsylvania. The 40-acre farm sits on the border of New York and Pennsylvania and is surrounded by over 3,000 wooded acres of state game lands. North Penn Alpacas is a family business, owned and operated by Steve, Robyn & Hunter LaSalvia.

The LaSalvia family strongly believes in “continual improvement through constant awareness”. North Penn works closely with the local veterinarians utilizing the many vet only alpaca clinics all over the country for continued education. The well-trained veterinary technicians work one on one with the animals. Meticulous routine physical examinations and customized health standards for each animal ensures a safe and healthy herd. Two additional barns and a few more large pastures in 2007 coupled with 24-hour wireless video monitoring of all the animals is just one small step forward. Another addition to the farm in ’06 was North Penn Alpacas Country Store. This hand made rustic log building was constructed from local red pine and its contents reflect the pastoral taste of its owners.

In addition to Snowmass White Gold, North Penn recently acquired a rare Caligula grandson with a long list of color championship offspring. North Penn has been extremely selective in forming their diverse foundation herd of over 70 top quality females; Many of which are co-owned with their sister farm, West Penn Alpacas.

North Penn and West Penn share more than a business, they are family. North Penn/West Penn, LLC has worked together to optimize the quality of their herds and to insure stable growth.
