We are a small farm, located in Vancouver, Washington, just 15 minutes from Portland Intl. airport. Where we raise our alpacas and Labrador Retrievers. After purchasing our first alpacas in 1994, one female suri and one female huacaya, we were hooked. Over the years we have bred and shown some of our animals, both suri and huacayas. We had approximately 40 plus animals here of all colors. The last two years we have cut down on our herd, concentrating on breeding only full Peruvian huacayas, mainly Accoyos. This year we are pleased to now have NWA LTD Haldane added to our herd and our main herdsire. Haldane is one of Hemingway's finest sons and we feel that with addition of such valuable genetics we are only adding to the value of our herd.
We want to breed for quality not quantity. Some of the studs we have bred to are some of the finest bloodlines around, including Accoyo Elite, Accoyo El Nino, Peruvian Providence, Peruvian K-2,Alexander The Great. We have had equally nice males we have great expectations for. Exquisite crimp and bundling with lots of luster. We feel 2007 will be off to a great start as well. Some of the crias we are expecting are out of such outstanding males like Accoyo El Nino,K-2, Haldane, Peruvian Canadar,Hemi-Accoyo Galileo,Accoyo Elite,CPeruvian Accoyo Express,Accoyo ZenDo and Peruvian Soprano. This will be an exciting year as the last one was. We also aquired some new females with equally impressive bloodlines such as 4Peruvian Legacy,Peruvian Bueno and Peruvian Apollo( Royal Fawn son).
Over the next year we will be moving to a larger farm (20 acres) putting in new barns and paddocks. We have had a new crop of babies and we are extreamly happy with them. Some of the best fleeces and conformation we have had. We look forward to having them in the show ring and continuing our goal of breeding the best alpacas we can.
