Experience family farming at Edgewood Farm Alpacas, located in the hills of rural Allegany, in Western NY, a step away from the beautiful Allegany State Park.  We  are a family run farm dedicated to raising exceptionally fibered and conformation sound animals with the genuine intent of creating and maintaining the success of our livestock industry by making it a viable fiber business.. Our herd consists of  animals with some of the top US bloodlines which include Bueno, Hemingway, El Nino, Caligula, Peruvian Casanova, Accoyo Royal Fawn,  Accoyo Snowmass Snowmaster, Peruvian Dakotia, Altiplano Gold ,Accoyo Amadeus and Drambuie.

We offer animal and fiber education through seminars and workshops. We assist clients with all aspects of alpaca farming including animal husbandry, shearing, fencing/ pasture layout, birthing and hands on support.
We not only educate, we create, designing hand knit items created by local artisans utilizing all  fiber from our animals and other neighboring farms.  Our goal is to represent alpaca well and introduce this luxurious fiber to those outside of the alpaca community one step at a time.

We belong to and support not only our national organization, but several affiliates including being founding members of the Alpaca Breeders of Western NY, chairing the Marketing and Fiber Committees for the organization, who in only our second year, are hosting the 2nd Western New York Alpaca Show and first annual Fiber Festival of Western NY.
