AuSable Valley's Ruby Moon LOT 17
Ruby Moon was born during the day at a time when the moon phase was full. Her fleece has a nice pink hue to it hence her name: Ruby Moon. Ruby has become a real looker like her General Schwarzkopf sire & Kenamori Gold dam. Ruby has strong bone with coverage to her toes, her fleece has very nice character & density along with nice handle & brightness. Her staple length is impressive as well. Ruby has a very sweet & inquisitive personality that is very endearing. She is quick to check out visitors & especially children. Ruby took first place in the medium rose gray juvenile female class at the highly competitive North American Alpaca Show! Judge Jude Anderson commented on Rudy's fineness, crimp style not often found in grays, density, staple, bone, and head. Ruby won a 3rd place under Judge Jill McCloud who commented that Ruby had "beautiful long staple, consistent crimp and nice soft staple". Show her all fall and next spring then breed her to 6x Champion Peruvian Lancaster for a spectacular cria. Or use the transferable Peruvian Lancaster breeding this fall on another female for a 2008 cria. Awards: 1st Place North American Alpaca Show 2007, 3rd place, MAPACA Jubilee 2007 Consigned by: AuSable Valley Alpacas- Jay & Julie Ward - Jay, NY Email Farm / Website Additional Photos
